The annual Stars Impact Awards recognise and reward effective, well-managed local organisations working to improve the lives of underserved children and their communities.
The 2015 and 2016 Stars Impact Awards will identify outstanding local organisations responding to the needs of children in the following regional 'clusters'.
The clusters will rotate to a new grouping of countries within a region every two years.

Asia-Pacific: Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam
Latin America-Caribbean: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru
Each year we will select eight Impact Award winners in each region to receive:
The Impact Awards are underpinned by a rigorous selection process that assesses both the delivery and impact of applicants' programmes as well as the organisations' institutional and management practices.
Stars proactively sources applications through relationships with a range of expert referral partners with knowledge of the experiences of underserved children in the region, and of the strong local organisations supporting them.
January-Febuary 2016: Nomination of eligible organisations by referral partners.
January-May: Stars assessment team checks eligibility and assesses applicants' programmes and management practices through a combination of application form, phone call and/or face-to-face meeting.
May-September: Stars assessment team shortlists and conducts assessment visit to finalists.
September: Eight Impact Award winners across each region are selected by a panel of independent experts and approved by the Stars Foundation Board of Trustees.
