Centro de Estudios Sociales y Publicaciones (CESIP) defends the rights of the most vulnerable members of society in Peru, particularly women and children.
The organisation focuses on the areas where children are engaged in the worst forms of child labour. It also supports female-headed households, due to the particular economic and social exclusion they face.
CESIP helps children in rural, urban and indigenous regions to leave hazardous labour and re-enter education.
Through its livelihoods and counselling support programmes, CESIP helps to reintegrate working children through school registration campaigns, and by addressing their learning gaps.
