Lesotho has the third-highest HIV prevalence in the world, with more than 23% of its population infected.
Kick4Life offers HIV testing at one-day football festivals and provides employment and educational support through health and life skills courses delivered by local role models.
The organisation also targets children living on the streets through a programme of sports, mentoring and referrals to other key services such as healthcare and rehoming.
The organisation's monitoring and evaluation system, Child Status Index, measures the wellbeing of participants across six key areas: nutrition, shelter, health, psychosocial, protection, and education. This system helps Kick4Life create individualised care plans for each young person and tracks their progress over time.
In 2012, Kick4Life educated 26,328 young people in Lesotho encouraging behavioural change, HIV testing and treatment.
