2016 Stars Impact Award Winners Announced

Stars is proud to announce the recipients of the 2016 Stars Impact Awards, marking ten years of the flagship programme.

The following 23 locally-led organisations are being recognised for the impact they have made on underserved children in their communities.

Representatives from each award-winning NGO will take the stage at the Philanthropreneurship Forum, entitled “Generation Impact: Harnessing the Power of Giving” which will be held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna next Monday.

Between them, the 23 organisations reached more than 240,000 people last year across 11 countries. Winners receive US$50,000 in flexible funding in addition to capacity building support.

To date, through the Impact Awards, Stars Foundation has awarded 130 organisations in 41 countries, reaching over 5 million people.
