Pragya is one of the few organisations with a focus on the Himalayan region and it aims to shape and enable holistic, sustainable development for vulnerable and neglected communities by carrying out education, healthcare, energy, sustainable livelihoods and human rights projects. Since it began its work in 1995, not only has Pragya’s work towards sustainable development for vulnerable and neglected communities reached over 21,000 children, it has also made huge strides in advocating for Himalayan issues at a national level.
