Awards Panel Volunteers
Every year, STARS convenes a group of experts to serve on our Independent Awards Panel – a fundamental part of our assessment process for the Impact Awards. The Panel’s role is to assess a shortlist of applications to the Impact Awards and recommend which exceptional local NGOs working with children should be awarded.
We look for individuals with a successful track record of working with vulnerable children, or in the voluntary, business, or finance sector(s). If you are interested in being considered for our next Awards Panel, please contact us and we will send you more information when our panel recruitment process begins.
Volunteer temping / Internship
At busy periods we sometimes use the support of volunteers or temps. If you would be interested in temping or volunteering for STARS, please send your CV and cover letter to info@starsfoundation.org.uk.
We welcomed our first intern in summer 2010 and plan to make this opportunity available again to other students in the coming year. Please keep an eye on this page for more information on internship opportunities with STARS.
The STARS Impact Awards
STARS offers Impact Awards to charities in Africa-Middle East and Asia-Pacific working with children in the areas of Health, Education, Protection and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene).
