Assessment Model
Over a rigorous process, applicants are assessed against eight criteria, developed with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, that reflect the hallmarks of effective practice.
The criteria that STARS is interested in are:
- Delivery and impact of programmes that improve the lives of disadvantaged children
- Governance and accountability to stakeholders
- Effective finance and administration
- Use of technology
- Innovation and flexibility
- Networking and collaboration with other organisations
- Human resource management
- Inclusion and access
The STARS Impact Awards
STARS offers Impact Awards to charities in Africa-Middle East and Asia-Pacific working with children in the areas of Health, Education, Protection and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene).
