Resources Aimed at the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (RAPCAN), works throughout South Africa and the region to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to promote children’s rights.
RAPCAN’s Award funding has been invested in core infrastructure to support the organisation’s delivery of services and in the creation of a long term reserve fund. The financial stability this has provided has been particularly critical in the current economic environment and has helped the organisation to continue to provide its services to children free of charge.
The STARS Impact Awards
STARS offers Impact Awards to charities in Africa-Middle East and Asia-Pacific working with children in the areas of Health, Education, Protection and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene).
