Disability Action Network, Somaliland

Disability Action Network (DAN) provides life-changing medical rehabilitation to children and adults in one of the world’s poorest and most challenging environments following years of civil war. Despite having a chronically under-resourced healthcare system and not being internationally recognised, the Somaliland government has functional structures that DAN works through to ensure that children with disabilities have access to medical and therapeutic rehabilitation services and are fully integrated into Somaliland society.
